BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass Product Launch
Vitro partnered with Pipitone to establish a leadership position in bird-safe glazing, by launching BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass, with the goal of securing early adoption among architects, generating measurable product demand and educating audiences about the product’s effectiveness and domestic production.

BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass was successfully launched on March 13, 2025. Pipitone produced all the necessary marketing resources, including training materials for the sales team, videos for trade shows and internal meetings, public and media relations and a social media campaign.

Pipitone produced educational collateral for both architects and fabricators to help them understand how to specify, cut and install BirdSmart? Bird Safe Glass. Digital ads drove viewers to a landing page to learn more.

BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass quickly became the most preferred bird-friendly glass brand with more than 900 samples shipped in less than nine months and 58% of Vitro’s 2025 brand study respondents selecting it over market competitors.
